    Saturday evening Social Dance Parties

    The evening costs $10 for Members, $12 for Non-Members. Please pay by cash or check; unfortunately the Club cannot accept credit cards.
    A lesson starts at 7:00 pm; it is included in the price of admission
    Dance Party from 8:00 – 10:30 pm
    Attendees are welcome to bring their food and drink, and a table is available for attendees to share food. The Club provides soft drinks for $1.00 and bottled water is free.

    Hand dance is a smooth form of swing that developed in the 40s and 50s in the Washington D.C. area. It came out of American swing and jitterbug, and combines aspects of east coast and west coast swing. It is a very versatile dance style that you can use for many different types of music.

    Greg Krehbiel is the president of the D.C. Hand Dance Club, and a certified Hand Dance instructor. Betty Bunch Garcia is an experienced dance instructor who studied ballet, jazz, tap, and ballroom. She started her career with Arthur Murray Dance Studios. Greg and Betty both enjoy getting together with long-time and new dance friends at club events.

    Ronn is a true lover of Argentine Tango. He has immersed himself with tango after being “bit by the Tango bug” many many years ago. We are very excited to have Ronn join us to introduce Argentine tango to DDC.

    Introducing Syreeta “Luna” Eubanks Owner and creator of Bella Joy Ballroom based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Luna brings 17 years of experience in training and teaching a variety of dance styles, specializing in Latin and nightclub styles such as rumba, salsa, bachata, and merengue.

    Luna is also the founder of Bella Ritmo Dance Co., a dynamic dance performance team that showcases the beauty and artistry of Latin dance. She travels extensively to teach classes, host social dance parties, and participate in festivals and conventions, sharing her passion for dance with diverse audiences.

    Luna is dedicated to inspiring hope and creativity in both new and experienced dancers. She fosters a safe, welcoming, and diverse community that emphasizes joy through movement. As a devoted mother, Christian, and counselor, she understands the importance of nurturing her students’ growth and self-expression.

    Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where dancers can develop essential life skills like discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence. Her dedication to continuous learning and creativity is evident in her captivating choreography.

    “Intro to Argentine” Tango class with a guest instructor Sasha Milentey!!

    Guest Instructor Sasha Milentey is offering DDC a chance to embrace Argentine Tango,during these lessons student will learn the connection, walk, and basic patterns to get you on the dance floor. For $70 you will get 4 weeks of 1 hour classes followed with a guided practica.
